Course Content
Bike setup- Looking at everything bike performance related that can affect your riding from tire pressures to suspension setup we will cover it!

Body position – Understanding the attack position and what advantages this can have along with how your body position changes dependant on terrain.

Key skills – Footballers have kick ups, Mountain Bikers have Manuals, Wheelies and bunny hops. We show you when and where to use these as an advantage on the trail.

Cornering technique – How to make corners effortless, Smoother, faster and most importantly safer on Bikepark banked turns all the way through to steeper technical open turns.

Control on steep descents – Staying relaxed and in control on the steeper sections of trail and understanding the techniques that need to be applied as it gets more challenging.

Safe drop-off techniques – Showing you the correct technique for allowing the wheels to be off the ground and understanding when, why and how this is applied.

Even though this is a beginners course, YOU MUST be able to have a basic Off road bike riding ability to change gear competently and come to a stop safely as well as a basic bike fitness and be able to confidently and safely ride a Blue graded trail.

For Pure beginners I'm sorry but I suggest you go to a local coach who can advise you,.

A fully functional working Bike that has good brakes and front suspension as a minimum.
