Bike setup- Looking at everything bike performance related that can affect your riding from tire pressures to suspension setup we will cover it!
Key skills – Footballers have kick ups Mountain Bikers have Manuals, Wheelies and bunny hops. We show you when and where to use these as an advantage on the trail
Body position – Understanding the attack position and what advantages this can have along with how your body position changes dependant on terrain.
Cornering technique – How to make corners effortless, Smoother, faster and most importantly safer on Bikepark banked turns all the way through to steeper technical open turns.
Pumping for speed and grip – How and where to pump so you can gain free speed
Line choice - Finding the smoother, Faster lines to save energy and to maximise flow.
Control on steep descents – Staying relaxed and in control on the steeper sections of trail and understanding the techniques that need to be applied as it gets more challenging
Safe drop-off techniques – Showing you the correct technique for allowing the wheels to be off the ground and understanding when, why and how this is applied.
Jumping basics – We show you the how and why to jump using a number of different techniques and when to apply them.
Recommended that you have attended the "Oi" course but not essential
YOU MUST be able to have a good Off road bike riding ability to competently ride Blue and Red Runs,
A fully functional working Bike that has good brakes and front suspension as a minimum.
Grade Of Trails Used: Blue/ Red/ Black Graded trails with some natural steep terrain
